Did any of you see that Friends World is changing their rule on outstanding portfolios?
Well, in short if you haven't finished your work to graduate and you want to, then 2006-2007 is it. After that you'll be required to pay a full semester's tuition instead of an advising semester.
And YES I did graduate. I saw someone else's letter.

Mon, May 29, 2006 - 8:59 AMYeah I got that letter too, Sounded like things were going to be much "harder" now though the way he worded it, like what we did before was easy or something. Suck it LIU! Your students could never do what we do and did. I am glad I went somewhere else to finish though, I felt FW gave me a lot to bring to the table at Evergreen. I wanted to write Robert and tell him, that I finished on my own already. -

Tue, May 30, 2006 - 8:20 AMI got the letter to. I almost threw up when I got it, as I had already done an advising semester, and turned in my thesis and got all my credits. It was sent to me by mistake thankfully, but DANG!! I don't know what list it went out to, but I guess you can get a copy of it from FW, or I can copy and send to you. It says that this semester they have $25,000 to give away to seniors to finish up their theses. After this year FW students won't have the option of doing an advising semester, they will have to enroll for a regular semester. -
