I've been receiving emails regarding the name change, to which I knew nothing about and then I discovered this link from one of the emails. Nothing really earthshaking to say, I was in one of the founding classes, (first 7) and wanted to see who else was out there. My name is Lynn Roberts, I was there when the change went from Mitchell Gardens to Long Island, I actually think I caused the change, long story. I was in the class with Ellen Schultz, Joyce, Victor, David Bryce, Claudia Raab, .....ring any bells? Would love to here from anyone. It is a little stifling here in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lynn

I sort of forgot about it also, until the whole name thing came up. Now that seems sort of foolish although I still like Friends World best, Then I heard of the reunion, but just heard of it today and its a little late to make plans. So how are you doing Mo? Im going to send you my actual email, so we can email directly and not connect every three years. Its lrob@current.net. You sound as if you live a very nice laid back life. Nice. This is such a stressful week for me that laid back sounds very nice.... something sort of 60ish. Didnt know it was still possible. If you have a chance drop me a line, it would be nice to keep in touch. Lynn

I relished in reading snippets of those known (and others) that shared the FWC experience. Am now in N. AZ Recuperating from surgeries - time now for new chapters...

Tue, December 23, 2008 - 2:31 PMI was also at Mitchell Gardens - around 68? - know Claudia from Nantucket and Nova Scotia - Tom Uhl similar - but they preceeded me I think - John Alerdice (?) was working there when I was there. Went to Whitesburg, Kentucky and met Harry Caudill, and met Stokley Carmichael in NYC.
