Hello all

I attended FWC in 1975-1977 in Huntington and England. I also wound up as the cook for a year or two in 1984-1986. I am now living in Buffalo ny (or the region) and freelance writing. It has been a long journey but my times at FWC are some of the best.

For those of you who know her, I spoke with Mary Krumbein today. She is well and living in Vaughn, Wa. Another recent contact is Bob Wagner, living in Niarobi and Pyrites, NY (guess which seasons he spends where?).

So if you know me or if you don't but want to... I am here now. I hope we can reconnect. I look forward to hearing from EVERYONE.

Love Ellen

  • Ellen, great to hear another FWCer is in Buffalo I was at FWC 87-90 and 91-02 as student exec. Currently I'm... well... a capitalist (hard to even say that)... with a friends world twist. I'm a part of a group of investors, the catalyst and now president of NewsTalk 1270. the best damn progressive station in the country (if I do say so myself). We're at the tri main center, feel free to stop in or visit our site at whldam1270.com
  • Hi Ellen --

My years at FWC are the same as yours. I was a visiting student at the African Center from '75 to the end of '76. I passed through the UK on my way back the States and visited with some folks in Norwich on the way home. Do you remember Nancy and Israel? They had been at Katheka Kai for quite awhile, but went to the UK center in '76.

I recall Bob Wagner from my time in Kenya.

Were you ever there? I recall at least one woman named Ellen there. If you were in Kenya we might have other mutual contacts. Do you have any idea where Jono ended up? Mark Cheatam? Kathryn Liss? David Washington?

BTW, I was born and raised in Buffalo. What brought you to the City of No Illusions?

    Peter
