There is a lot of information flying around about the "death" of Antioch College. The Board of Trustees has decided to suspend operations of the undergraduate college for four years with a view to reopening in 2012 on a more financially secure base. This weekend, June 22-24, hundreds of alumni are at the Yellow Springs campus, fighting for the life of Antioch College. If you ever attended Antioch or have friends who did, please get involved to help us preserve this wonderful college. Many of us are afraid that if it closes for four years, it may not open again, ever. Our founder, Horace Mann, said "Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for mankind." We say, "Be ashamed to let Antioch die!"
I attended Friends World College from 1971-1972, then transferred to Antioch and graduated in 1974.
