Hello all,
What is everyone doing for May day, aka major labor rights day? Have you hugged your local recent immigrant and told them you appreciate them? I went to the YMCA today and heard the old me talking at the table, apparently there was an article about homeless people getting back on their feet and they had quite a bit to say about it, "Damn Bums! Well at least the Hispanics will do the work that the bums don't want to do I guess". So I got my dose of pesimistic May day retoric, so now I can move onto the possitive aspects of the day. What are your THoughts of the day, please share, seems like this room has been a bit dead lately.
