For those of you who are not members of the e-mail listserve set up by LIU I'm reposting this message that I sent out today. I'm hoping to get the attention of those at WHQ and help out FW in anyway that I can. I believe that while I cannot do anything to reverse the decision to move the India center north, I can help FW to keep all of the other centers open for as long as possible. If there is anyone else who lives near by one of these locations ---www.nacacnet.org/MemberPor...hedule.htm --- and would like to help recruit new minds for FW send an e-mail to Robert Glass [Robert.Glass(atmark)liu.edu] and let him know that you can help.

To all of those concerned,
Pittsburgh, PA February 23rd at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center
Montgomery County, MD April 26th at the Montgomery County Agricultural Center in Gaithersburg, MD
Edison, NJ May 3rd and 4th at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center
New York, NY May 7th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center
Here a just a few of the college expos that are coming up in 2006. I'd be willing to attend any one of them as representative of Friends World. I live in Washington DC and could easily make it to any one of these events. I was wondering if there is any plans for recruitment in the future of the program.
The way I see it, the best solution for FW is to recruit more students. That way we aren't closing centers due to lack of enrollment or interest. Believe me when I say that there are interested students out there who would be willing to pay good money for a program as unique as ours. WE just need to make a strong effort to find them - and that's exactly what I'm willing to do.
